It’s a decade since the “dot com” bubble dramatically burst in March 2000. However, far from being the end of all things internet the past decade has seen digital marketing become the de facto starting point for most businesses. In 2007 Google’s advertising revenues outstripped those of ITV for the first time, national newspapers now use Social Media (ie Twitter, Facebook et al) as readily as a keyboard & telephone and customers think a website is more important than a business card. So love it or hate it the digital revolution is all around you. The only question is how to embrace it in a way which delivers Sales results.
